OOM - Tequila Sunrise, Tequila Sunset....
[OOC: Continued from here.]
Clementine's Milliways apartment looks like a hippie gift shop. There's a hookah, pillow-strewn couches, and a bunch of oil paintings of her dressed up in metal bikinis brandishing a sword.
She points at the sofa, tells Sam to sit down, and sits opposite him.
"Want to tell me why you have two names?" she asks.

Gah So Late! Around now, and will be for another couple of hours at least! <3
Does he really think he loves her already?
Gahh so many conflicting emotions, and all of them tumbling over each other at once! But the last comment makes her laugh and breaks a little more ice. "Almost everything they put on the show makes me look like a dirty cop. If they wanted evidence against me, they could just turn one their TV."

"Yeah, but these are really through guys, they would make sure that you are or aren't' they wouldn't just trust tv."

Her other hand slips back up and down his arm. This is turning into a familiar gesture between them, one that's comfortable. "You really do care, don't you?" It's still kind of hard for her to believe. "We haven't even fucked yet, and you still care about me."
no subject
"I know it's better if you have feelings before you do it. You know not everyone wants just that from you."
no subject
"I've slept with men just because they were nice to me. And I'm not naive; men have entire conversations with my bubs before they even glance at my eyes."

He would never suggest, It might be because she leads with them...
"I am sure that they are just lonely and need new friends."

Clem moves a little closer, now that the air between them is clearer. "How do you do it, Sam? You know how to make me feel better in two seconds without even breaking a sweat."

They get a little closer, and she tentatively leans against his shoulder.

"Don't picture me as any type. I don't fit in any mold that you've ever seen."
no subject
"Good. I don't like molds."
Clementine doesn't fit into any herself.
"You really don't mind staying the night?" Most men would, if it didn't involve sex.

She's said that in tones far, but today's knocked her for a loop and sex is for once the last thing on her mind. She has a 'date' with Dangle tomorrow, and he's her absolute last-ditch option when it comes to dads.
Clementine's bedroom is rather lushly decorated; the hippie gift shop motif extends to batiked quilts in various shades of pink.
"You've never told me about your family. Where did you come from?" Nice, unsexy thoughts as she takes off her heels and earrings.

"I'm from Michigan and Southern California I went to high school in Michigan and played football. I have a mom, dad. Had a dog when I was little."

She finally lets go of his hand to unbutton her blouse and get off her pants. Her underwear is shockingly non-revealing; a camisole and some panties that aren't nearly as revealing as her usual set. And that's all that's coming off tonight, Sam, sorry.

"Yeah only the fence as mud splattered a bit."

"I had a lemonade stand." It's the only memory she has of her childhood that has any good connotation, and even that's tainted.
no subject
"I like lemonade."
no subject
"It was mostly instant. I was ten." Clementine does not cook, sadly.
no subject
"That is good too. It's really good with a touch of cherry mixed in."
And Vodka...

He hasn't noticed the tattoos on her back yet, but he can read her life there. And one day, his name will be the only thing there.
