OOM: Taking an Autobot to the cabaret

Clementine doesn't quite know how they're going to do this - but they're going to try.

She's already in her stage makeup and costume and is chain-smoking just inside of her door - the door, thankfully, to the back of the theatre. "Come on in," she encourages.

Wing is trying not to show too much excitement. He's only seen his world, after all. Even in his universe, he knows there's a big universe out there...that he and his kind have hidden from.

He taps on the door before opening it, peeping around it. He admits the whole constantly changing redeco was fascinating. Every day, she looked slightly different.

"Clementine? Am I late?"

:) I picked through the various layouts they had 'til I found something I liked.

She can see your excitement, robot-guy. Wait until you see her all done up in gold.

"Nope, we're about to start the midnight show." She stubs out her cigarette and shifts to the side to give him better access to the doorway. "Can you get through, or can you see okay from where you are?"

Seeing her in gold will confuse him: he might think she's a robot.

"I can get through. But I just don't want to be in the way." You know, large robot. Sort of hard to prop in a corner and forget about.

He's got to learn that not everything that's metalic in color's a robot.

"You won't, if you stay backstage." The door out back is about as big as he is - it's big enough to back a tractor trailer filled with professionally made scenery through.

It will be a learning curve.

"I'll stay back...'stage'." Whatever that is. "Just point me where it's safe."

He scoots through, carefully. Everything looks so fragile here. "And so...where do we begin?"

Definitely.

She crooks her index finger to a spot at the far back of the stage. He should be able to both see everything and be able to blend in with the crates.

"I begin in about fifteen minutes." Sure enough, an assistant buzzes by, herding her along with the rest of the showgirls to center stage. "Wish me luck?" she mouths.

Wing moves slowly, trying carefully not to let the projections of his armor or his weight damage things, until he's at the spot she's indicated. He can see the stage, and hear a noisy buzz in front of it.

"Best of luck," he says, quickly. Why would she need luck? Obviously, because what she's about to do is dangerous.

..Wow. Nicest scary huge robot guy in the world.

She gives him a little bow, flashes him the peace sign and she's off to perform among the chorus. Wing will notice a lot of kicklining, as if the troupe are amateur Rockettes set loose with a bedazzler.

Her solo involves spinning a baton that spits fireworks from either end.
