Michael nods slowly, quietly excusing himself to go to the expansive observation outlook with his fresh beer.
He knows he should be confused and worried about where they were, but it seemed safe - at least more safe than the hotel room he'd holed up in the previous night until a supposed contact tried to kill him. Always put a damper on the evening. No, he was much more concerned about the girl and how much she knew - and just what the chances were that she'd end up on the wrong side.
So, he waits, staring vacantly into... Well, something or maybe nothing... Until Sam approached like he knew that he would.
